It doesn't affect me, it just doesn't make any sense. Go to a small school where people will be excited. NYC literally gives no fucks about college football.

It's not the dumbest thing

Having it in Times Square is the dumbest thing

Still think they should've invaded Washington Square Park because the bewildered NYU students would be worth it.

It's painfully incongruous.

Like this soft pop-country intro with skyscrapers in the background. Makes no sense dawg

I mean there are a lot of alums from football schools in New York/greater NYC

It's not like Tuscaloosa where life revolves around football, or Atlanta where a ton of people have allegiances to teams, but you could find a few million fans

Just....Times Square is a loving eyesore

Georgia Tech, Georgia, Alabama and Florida all seem to have at least a few active posters, but that may just be confirmation bias because I am myself a Georgia fan and thus notice my own/adjacent fanbases.

Yes, that was a very touching underdog story about a guy who has lived a life of hardship due to his happy family and privileged upbringing, Ivy League education, playing time for a major FBS college football program, and a bright future of being a handsome, wealthy, young wall street trader. I wouldn't be surprised to see Disney option his life rights to do a Rudy-esque biopic.

Well it's a less-challenging story than highlighting the gladiatorial meatgrinder through which we force underprivileged kids to bash their brains into mashed potatoes for the slimmest hope of NFL glory.

Dubs In The Key Of Life

Lipstick Apathy
LSU will beat Syracuse, but I expect them to struggle.

The OL/DL are a mess. Enough so that there's zero guarantee that they'll win another SEC game this year. Guice seems to have some lingering injury. Orgeron said he wouldn't play this weekend then said he would.

DB/LB is a talented group, but young. WR is young too (outside of the #1) and are pretty unremarkable so far & prone to drops. Eitling is who he is: an average QB with an average arm. He ain't gonna win games by himself.

If I'm being objective, I expect UF to struggle mightily in a boring 13-7 win over Kentucky. Voodoo is strong.

Offense showed signs of life last week though. I'm hoping to see at least a complete offensive performance for the first time in...well, recent history. But that is the eternal hope.
