The plot of this is almost assuredly going to be comically tight-assed, by-the-book veteran cop John Cena and skilled-loose-cannon rookie cop Kumail, in the most predictable ways possible, and I will watch it and love it.

No one man should have all that Psycho-Power.

OK I have a question that's been bugging me for a while now. Why exactly is the face/heel dynamic switched around for the commentators when it comes to Elias? Cole loves him, Cory hates him. Like I am all for it but it confuses the hell out of me.

Corey has hated him ever since NXT so somebody has to be on Elias's side. They're oddly consistent with who Corey hated before, having him still hate them on the main roster.

Where the big boys RAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRGH FUCK YOU
Coreys love/hate dynamic with specific wrestlers is clearly leading to him being the next Heenan so you better get used to it, Graves probably has 25+ years of announcing ability in him

He's really good at it, too. I'm glad they gave him a shot at it when it was clear he couldn't wrestle anymore.

It seems highly unlikely that they would do this, but I'd love to see Neville go to SD and team with Sami as a new babyface tag to work with the Usos. New Day are obviously great and super over and have had an amazing feud with the Usos, but obviously that one is about to wrap up at HiaC and Sami and Neville had great chemistry working their feud in NXT and really brought the best out of each other.

If Ric Flair banged 10,000 women, on average that's one woman per night, every night, for 27.4 years.

That seems like a low estimate on his part.

lol at the idea that he wasn't constantly getting at least two women per night

CVagts

Yeah, that's why the estimate seems low. There were probably nights when he had like 10+ women, skewing the average.

Yeah Graves doesn't always follow the heel = good, face = bad rule. He's like 90% there but he has a handful of exceptions.

Combined with Booker having no consistency at all I guess they needed Cole to jump in on Elias' side?

Booker making GBS threads on Matt Hardy was really weird.

My favorite Booker moments are when he's pushing against the narrative they're trying to establish, and Cole or Graves need to try to reel it back in.

You'll have Cole doing one of his repeating the same line 10 or 12 times to make sure the audience gets it, and Booker will just say "I don't know" or "Nah I don't think so" and go a whole other way with it.

Graves consistency on the type of character he loves and the type he hates and the way it bleeds across face/heel lines is incredible. How he'll despise Elias and Enzo regardless of face/heel dynamic and love a guy like Jack Gallagher or Bobby Roode because they put on airs, whether it's to be a good or bad guy. He's a yuppie sellout. I love it.

The fact that he's managed to build his character and keep it with some credibility with Vince in his ear is nothing short of incredible.

Meanwhile, on the other end of the desk is Booker T. I have absolutely no loving clue if he's a face or heel. Like, he's meant to replace Otunga, who replaced Saxton, who was the face to Graves' heel. But he's an rear end in a top hat and advocates cheating and betrayal constantly and often winds up forcing Graves to turn face for a minute. It's freakin' disorienting.
