The only way I will cheer for the Cubs is if they're playing the Yankees.

Otherwise, in order:

1. Nationals
2. Twins
3. Astros
4. Rockies
5. D-Backs
6. Indians
7. Dodgers
8. Red Sox
9. Every other team in existance.
...
15. The Cubs
...
9001. Yankees

Also Giancarlo Stanton has one more game to hit a 60th homer but he struck out against Jim Johnson yesterday so does he really deserve it?

I feel bad for the Washington Nationals, trying to get past their history of fading in the playoffs, one might say a "curse" against the chill, relaxed, nothing bad could happen Cubs.

For the first time in my life, the Cubs are heading to the postseason and I don't have the usual overwhelming sense of dread that can only come with the crushing weight of a century of failure.

From what I'm seeing, the MRI confirmed a hamstring cramp, and they're hoping it won't affect the postseason rotation.

Man, I really like this Yankee team. I was kinda going into this year not expecting much from them, hoping to get the heat off them for a little it before they go all Yankee$$ when FA hits next year.

Even if they don't go far in the playoffs it was still a fun season.

Good luck to all the teams in the playoffs (Except the Red Sox, even though they're plenty likeable too)

Ben Zobrist is just a big kid at heart.
Before Saturday's game against the Reds, the Cubs' veteran, his son, Zion, plus a couple relatives rode their bikes over to Hamlin Park to watch some youth baseball games.
Nobody knew Zobrist would show up -- he just decided to go for a ride with his sandlot crew and stop by the baseball diamonds.

I dispense wisdom by the gallon.
Hamlin Park is the best because the diamonds are set up so that home plate is at the corner of each square. There's nothing more fun than hoping for a line drive into another teams' game while Little League outfielders stand back to back in the center of the square.
