Terrible pacing, rushed art, questionably useful filler content... just blah. Not even sure i want this on the background as i work anymore.

From the new opening it's possible we are going to cover 11 chapters in the next 13 episodes. I hope thats not true and they speed up a bit.

The ending to this episode with the timing of the ED and them bothering to do up the detail level to acceptable levels for the face shots is about as close to real style as the anime has gotten. I was legit impressed.

Yeah, sadly I've just stopped watching it. It lasted longer than the exorcist one by the mangaka of Binbougami Ga, but it's just not worth my time at this point.

My friends mentioned a tweets by the author apologizing in advance for the next episode, for reasons they didn't really explain. Maybe just quality issues overall. I ... kinda just want to watch it to see what went wrong.

I remember Horikoshi apologizing in the TOC comments a couple times about missing weeks and sketchy chapters, Tataba apologized once or two in the TOC comments too for sketchy/missing weeks. I can't recall but people involved with DBS apologized for how awful parts of the season were animated. Tosh apologized on twitter because people hated the ongoing arc in Souma so much. Lot of that going around. Rough industry. If they hosed up the next episode I dunno what they won't gently caress up- because "destroyer" is a chunk of the meat of the biggest fight in the arc.

Watched the latest episode finally. Man, whatever production they got going it's really not doing well. This episode has a lot of action and it looks to me like the animation was fine but the compositing and CG were thrown together in an hour for broadcast. This is an episode where the Blurays are going to be a dramatic improvement if they make the effort to fix stuff. Shame too- the action bits that weren't obscured by horrid CG clouds were pretty alright.

I would say just watch the Dungeon Arc (aka episode 14 and on) in it's entirety as it starts slow but speeds up towards the end as they start covering more then 1 chapter an episode.
