Don't you just hate when you wind up in a store with people who are in a socioeconomic class that is pretty obviously about two levels lower than your own?

e: my idea is twitter but with /topic tags so you could follow only like @qirex/rapconcerts or @qirex/boringtechopinions without having to see the rest of my not-tweets

MIT's Zephyr has this in the late 1980s

you and your friends would subscribe to a class (which was like a chat room) and your messages could be sent to specific (class, instance) tuples that could be treated like topics, filtered, and so on

since messages were always sent to a <class, instance, recipient> tuple, private messages were just messages to <message,personal,user@REALM> while public messages were usually sent to recipient *

and of course it was easy to rig up automated systems to interact with and be controlled by it too

most clients also supported rendering basic bold/italic/underline formatting with simple Scribe-style markup

Add some pyramid power in there somewhere and you got yourself an indiegogo campaign

put your blades in the pyramid shaped apple cider vinegar reservoir and the interaction of those with the ley lines will ensure they stay sharp as long as it's oriented parallel to the equator and kept level

(level included at some high Kickstarter tier)
