Just as a counterpoint, the Yankees weren't really expected, at season's start, to go this far. Girardi (and Judge) took them this far. Girardi still doesn't have a contract for 18, but the media will surely get silly about not giving him one FOR ONE loving GAME. But yeah, Teh Boss would have probably axed him...
