Filing cabinets are fun and I always check the one behind the ORB-1 key in Reserve. Good chance for crickets, zibbos and matches which are always worthwhile.

If I recall, the way it works is that the game rolls for what will spawn in a given slot- common, rare, super rare, or nothing, with different weights for all of those. Then it rolls on the table listed on the wiki, with the table displayed as listed there. That means you don't have a 12% chance for any given slot to spawn a labs card in a filing cabinet, you have a 12% chance for something that has already rolled a super rare slot to spawn a labs keycard. Most of the slots will spawn things from the common table or nothing.

It feels so good to go in with nothing, take out players and come out, frankly just alive. With gear is even better. I don't care if there are more efficient ways of making money, this is still the best way to play for me. Also, just started getting back into the game a bit and looked at ice pick prices: holy poo poo. I wish i'd done what I thought about during the Christmas advertising drop period and bought up a bunch of them at 1-1.5mil, because right now i'd have unlimited money. They are like 5.5mil! Curious what other things went up, but i'll figure that out over time.

He does both. He claims not to lag switch but he posted a video where you can hear the windows internet disconnect/reconnect sound, something that does not happen from servers being laggy.

Have been pretty successful in killing the raiders, and getting out. You can also hop out of the truck and leg the raiders from the bottom of it. Especially good if you have the pipeline extract.

Scav runs are so much fun. The total lack of fear is really empowering to do some dumb poo poo. Superhero landing while spraying KEDR and hammering F1. Mosin crew hunting sweaty boys. It's so cool

I did a low-gear (but not hatchet) run on Reserve this afternoon and I was making my way up to the truck depot area (with the secured armory in it) and some super geared guy started pelting at me from the rooftop. I ran under an awning and chucked a lovely Prapor grenade up and arced it loving perfectly. Died about a moment later to some other random guy. Then the gearlord messages me to tell me that he was super kitted out and the grenade one hit killed him and he couldn’t figure out how I made the throw. In summary I’m bad at this game but having an awful lot of fun.

Speaking of being bad at the game, I hosed around in offline last night and found out that I wasn’t hitting poo poo with reflex/iron sights because my FOV was turned up. So I turned it back down to default and it feels like I still can’t hit poo poo. Aiming center mass on scavs that are like 20m away with a Mosin full of LPS gzh and they don’t even flinch - it’s like the bullets aren’t even close. Is there some obvious cue I’m missing cause it feels weird as hell to aim directly at a scav walking by and fire and just nothing happens at all.

Did a scav run as my first go on reserves to try and learn a new map (have mostly been playing customs). Spawned with a 12g and birdshot and saw a suppressor poking out of a tower so went to say hello. Crept up the tower and then domed a guy fully kitted out including a thermal equipped sniper rifle. Absolutely glorious moment but then realised I have no loving idea how to extract despite have a map on the second screen. Ended up getting 2 more kills and a gently caress ton of gear before being brutally owned in the k buildings. I was hella rich for a little bit.

I think it might be due to the lowest possible zeroing setting being 50. Anything close enough will be going above your sights since they're set to show where your bullet will be further out. I could be wrong about the zeroing, but I can't seem to set it any lower in any case.

I wasn’t even going for headshots; aiming at center mass down to like stomach did nothing with Mosin iron sights, SKS reflex, and SKS iron sights. I’m reading now that people have had issues with bit registration before; not sure if it’s that or something else. You're not thinking about how bullets travel properly. Bullets start below your line of sight, obviously. A good bit below your line of sight in some cases. The barrel is angled upward relative to your line of sight, so that the bullet will rise to the level of your sight at some distance, potentially go above your line of sight, and then eventually fall back below it.

I mean I totally get that, especially for something like aimingat heads up close with a scope that’s zeroed for 150m, but aiming for the sternum at 15-20m with iron sights or a reflex zeroed to 50 and not hitting poo poo multiple times seems real janky.
