I'm not a fan of the way they're splitting the season in two with such a large gap. If they want to give Legends and Black Lightning shorter seasons (and I don't object to that; I'm firmly of the opinion that shows end up being better when seasons are shorter) then they should just have one after the other.

It's actually Roswell's fault. They wanted to stick it after The Flash which bumped everything else in the schedule around and Legends drew the shortest straw. Same thing happened to Supergirl last year.

Just fold all the Arrowverse into one show that airs five nights a week with a huge, interchangeable cast. I want to see Mick and Diggle have to team up to stop Solomon Grundy. Or Cisco and Nate have to stop the Ultra-Humanite. Or Alex and Constantine have to stop Granny Goodness while also planning Oliver’s surprise birthday party. Call it DC’s World’s Finest.

I'd be okay with Arrow ending, tbh. It's done its time and is basically spinning its wheels at this point. Legends ending would be a drat shame, but I could see a restructuring in its future. A series based off of them patching up anomalies caused by the Crisis is basically a tailor built plot for them. If they do make a proper new series, if it's an ensemble one, I'd hope it's the Justice Society (can't do Justice League lest casuals get confused) or something. Alternatively, since Batwoman was set up, her series could be the replacement street level series that Arrow nominally was. As an alternative out, they could shift shows and rescope Ollie's duties and do a Checkmate sort of series with Ollie as the Black King and only needing to guest star while the main focus is on a new ensemble of Black/White Knights. That Checkmate has largely been replaced by ARGUS in the comics is irrelevant, lmao.

I can see Arrow ending after Crisis because the show is pushing 10 years old now. I hope Legends getting the axe isn't true, but then again it's the most expensive of the Arrowverse shows with its sets, costumes, locations and special effects. Still, five seasons on a show that people were convinced was DOA before the first season was even done airing is a drat respectable run...
