Ignoring all the inevitable arachnophobic "gently caress that's", if a wolf spider, for whatever reason, ever loses her eggsac that she carries under her , she immediately stops what she's doing and worriedly looks around for her children until she finds it and carries it in her mandibles until she finds a safe spot to re-attach them. I always found that

Like yes I guess an ugly hippo or whatever is cute in its own way, but there are so many more much cuter things. I think people posting traditionally ugly things like spiders are just trying to be controversial.

Gee, It's almost like every individual has their own hard-wired perspective on cute. Many people I know think babies are the cutest thing ever, and I find them generally repulsive. As long as someone thinks jumping spiders, unremarkable cats, and capybaras are cute, then by golly they can be considered cute.

A spider at my house this morning was carrying here ball-sac of spawn on her, she was down to 5 arms and had like 12 more feet of driveway to go. I put her in one of my potted plants full of those really small brown ants. i caused a bug was because after work the potted plant was like covered in web. good for her.
