I am catching up on beef babe streams, and the end of the one I just listened to has brought my attention to this little piece: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gpEaQCbnJhU

I really love the slower pace of the new beef babes streams, lower stakes per episode, and more character time.
Bethanee and Freezo are also developing a great, adorable rapport.

I'm still super glad that these things are going, and seeing Philge and Bobby work through the trauma of the season 4 finale on one side. (Their little heart to heart a couple episodes ago.) And Freezo possibly working through his trust issues through his friendship with Bethanee.

Really curious what'll happen in the future when Freezo again meets the Dragon Friends, especially since Dave was pretty specific about the BB streams happening a few months before s6 proper.

I've never heard a more guilty and reluctant ask for patreon subscribers than Hing and Ben do at the start of the latest FTAGH.

I'm sure there was a lack of engagement all round on the children's wizard movie but honestly, if you told me Demi Lardner took fifteen breaks during any given movie I'd believe that.

The newest DF twitch stream has been a kind of off-the-cuff chat with Edan and Dave, a bit of talk about DF, a bit about BB.
A bit of a look over the characters and their growth. And some look into their worldbuilding, especially in regards to the Beef Babes.
They answered a couple chat questions but kept forgetting about the chat and went off on their own tangents.

Apparently Hyperion Max is perpetually they/them because Demi refuses to let Dave see the character sheet, because she knows he's annoyed that he doesn't know their pronouns.
https://www.twitch.tv/videos/681246093 for those curious.

Unrelatedly to that, it still reminds me how much I wish some other Tabletop podcasts would pick up the multi-DM setup DF has, it just works so well.

I'm kind of annoyed that Dave didn't just roll with Freezo actually being perma-banished but I can see how that'd be unworkable.

Swedish style? No.
Yugoslavian style? Of course not.
It has to be Zlatan-style.

The multi-DM tactic of having someone specifically play NPCs is also used in Fun City, a cyberpunk live-play podcast, and it rules there too. I've been trying to convince someone to just play NPCs in my home game because the dynamic is so much fun

The new FTAGH patron-only thing is extremely good even though it means they were LYING when they said we wouldn't get anything for being patrons.

Last week Ben and Dave did a stream where they talk about the writing process for Dragon Friends. During it, Ben said that his favorite NPC to play is Bobson Dugnutt, because it's just his dad.

I dunno why, but a comedian lampooning their dad is very funny to me.

It's mostly because you think people are doing exaggerated voices, and then you hear like a voice mail from them or something and it ends up completely accurate.

Started listening recently and it's pretty great. Sadly I can't seem to make 3x15 download as anything but an empty file though for the past couple days. Same is happening with previous episodes that downloaded just fine before so I'm guessing some kinda hosting issues, especially since I randomly tried 3x17 and that works. I've just moved on to the Tomb of Annihilation twitch stuff instead. I do think the shorter campaigns maybe suits the crew a bit better though, but it's been fun to listen to adventures in futuristic fantasy nonsense unlike the first two seasons too.

It worked just fine for me right now, you might want to grab it just in case, though it would be very strange if just one specific episode was down for a while.

Downloading it also worked just fine.
