[Binge and] Purge the xenos!

I'm running a pair of headphones through an Astro MixAmp optically to my PC. I've been using this configuration for about a year, with zero issues. Today, I go to play PUBG and my in-game sound is entirely absent. Toggled in-game sound on/off, rebooted, etc - no dice. Toggled from my sound settings going through my MixAmp to using RealTek, no issues. Checked in with Diablo, same problems.

What could be causing this? When I swapped to RealTek, I didn't move any cables so everything is still routed through my MixAmp. Additionally, when using RealTek my MixAmp's buttons still have an effect. This is really loving odd.

EDIT: And a reboot fixed it. Probably a driver not initializing?
