Corsair K95 with translucent front printed black keycaps from maxkeyboard.
The legends are completely unreadable unless the room is brightly lit, which is annoying as hell because the extra G keys on the left make it hard to hit the correct home position for your hands on the first try.

It intimidates and prevents other people from using my computer though which is good.

Corsair ported their RGB software to MacOS, I hope my garish blinged out hackintosh haunts Jony's dreams.

I got a real old collectable keyboard of ebay which turns out not to work with anything invented after 1999 (one of you goons is going to get it for yosmas lol) but now Ive got the new keyboard bug.

Does anyone have any opinions on the the Vortex Core, or other 40% keyboards in general? I'm really tempted to get one but a bit worried that such a minimalist keyboards will actually be a bad idea even tho I mostly write prose.

Combined two of my keyboards this weekend



The layout is the 34-key layout from the Minidox, and the capped keys are Kailh Coppers. I didn't remove the unused switches because they're part of how the flexible PCBs are held in place in a Kinesis Advantage, I might 3d print a cover or replacement for them if I stick with this. Inside is a Teensy++ running QMK. There's also a functional trackpoint inside, I just need to figure out how I want to mount it.
