switch joycons will show up as the right colours too, and it knows to use 2 as a single device. one of the many enraging things that macos has ridiculously good controller support (way nicer and easier than windows and linux) and nothing to use them with.

Yeah sorry I meant AR/VR specific controllers. I imagine the headset will do hand tracking but that’s not really going to work very well for e.g. VR Resident Evil. i think they're going to try to focus on doing really good hand tracking and hopefully they won't make a dumb-assed decision like they did with apple tv apps (originally all games had to be playable on that remote lol) i think with work you could do a hand-tracked res evil but it's going to be loving tiring and most will probably not do it well

i’m legit looking forward to seeing what they do. too rich for my blood unless this has all been a marketing ploy but no it’ll probably actually be $3k. i don’t think the pocket battery is a big deal to keep weight and heat down, and i’m super curious if the rumours about it being about as thick as an iphone are true. anyway best case scenario is that more people make more interesting software for my dumb cheap headset imo

generally the macbooks did get some love, with the return of a decent keyboard and ports and all. hardly *exciting* news, but seeing how it looked like apple was pretty much killing them off it was a turnaround.
