Backup is just settings and what apps you had on it. It'll download the apps, put the settings back in, etc. But it will have to sync your music from your computer again (or download it from the iTunes store I imagine if you have the Music subscription, I don't know). And then bluetooth and fingerprints have to be done again. But otherwise it's pretty lean for a backup. It's not an image.

i just want a good phone to be announced tomorrow. my 6s has a crack on the screen I've been putting up with for over a year, the 128 gig isn't enough for my music collection, and the battery life is bad enough now for it to need a charge twice a day. iphone SE 256 gig would be ideal.

Someone upthread posted about how it’ll replace your music with the clean, live, or radio edit versions of a song unknowingly. or they lose rights and pull it unless you have your copy of the track to upload. or I can pay the ten dollars a month for the larger hard drive for the 3 years I have the phone. also my wife doesn’t like my garbage music

I tried it but it never seemed to update or sync. I would add a new album but it didn't show up elsewhere. I don't know what magic you need to do to get it to update, but it didn't even after waiting overnight, so I got a refund.

Wifi sync has pretty much always been bad. Even for me, who had it work for years up until recently when it stopped. And if it stall out during a wifi sync then I have to either restart iTunes, or restart my phone, depending on what's stuck. At least with a USB sync I can unplug and plug it in so that I can have it try again. But this morning I had to do that twice for the two syncs I did before leaving for work.

I've been using kodi since the first xbox but you're doing exactly what I want. are your bluray rips iso files or what? right now I've only done my DVD collection since kodi can play the isos that way, like if they were in a DVD player with the menus and everything. I want to do the same with my blurays.
