it still comes with a lovely 5w charger to add to my skullpile of useless white cubes. that alone automatically disqualifies it from a perfect score. i don't care if they never send my an early review unit ever, someone has to make a stand for the sake of integrity.

i'm just going to keep using a passcode anyway since i'm irrationally paranoid. but yeah, touch id was real good poo poo. also the wait for the x edition is down to less than a month, so it looks they got their poo poo together pretty quick in regards to production. just in time to be a great stocking stuffer for your 6-10 year old nieces and nephews to troll your siblings who are still on something like a 2 year old moto g.

it’s smaller than my Plus with the same amount of screen real estate. exactly what I was buying it for. all the gestures, awful app and skee-ball function fine. I’m sure when I use the camera people will just love the 95 megabyte attachments. and I’m never using face id because that’s dumb. 4/5 because of the one spec of dust under my screen protector.

a couple more problems with the x to report. there’s no way to show the battery percent in the top right without swiping down, its completely impossible and the ringtone is different and wrong. fuckin owned over here.

i want the new mac pro to be designed out of pure spite. the cpu socket will fit standard off the shelf xeons but it will fry both the board and cpu if you put one in it because it's not LGA2066, no sir; it's LGA2066a and it's not keyed any differently. same goes for the cpu fan header, psu, m.2, memory, and pci express slots, all the same pin count and connectors, all artificially electrically incompatible. the only compatible video cards will be quadro and firepro cards that will cost a couple hundred more than the already-padded price of the regular pc ones, because gently caress you. the cheapest card will be rebadged $350 gt610.
