The entire reason I got the x was because I loved the bigass screen on my plus, but the size was ridiculous. I agree that the x is too big in the sense that no larger phone is going to ever feel as good as the 5 or SE in my hand, but if I want a bigger screen, it’s a compromise I’m gonna have to live with.

I hope they update the SE every couple years forever. The form factor is too perfect to let it die.

i'm sure they will keep making the phone you said you won't buy because its screen is too small

WebAssembly brings no untold end joys of gobbling more memory. Developers preallocate fixed storage for their cross compiled .Net apps.

Just wait and someone will port Node.js to WebAssembly so you can have a literal Node.js server running in your browser to reduce the burden of developing front-end webcodes and streamline that latency of first render.

i had a process for updating some configurations files that involved a macro in excel, some perl and a java program. i made it myself i don't remember why i used both perl and java, probebly because the vba thing output csv and "perl is good with text?"

lmao yeah leave it to the music industry to finally find a way to actually make money off of music and then totally gently caress it up by creating their own bespoke streaming platform that nobody will ever use

movie companies have already started doing this. for years people said that give us a convinient way to watch movies and pay for it and we'll stop using bittorrent. then netflix happened. then movie companies are like "wait, why are we letting netflix have all this money when we could make our own streaming service", not they're all making their own also-ran services and expect people to subscribe to all of them apparently, at :10bux: per month for each.
