I'm in for the third year in a row if you couldn't tell I'm an old fogey in the SF Bay Area who likes old computers I also like stuff for our three cats and booze and antifa and punk and industrial music and wall art and all sorts of things like that in 2015 my santa was siljmonster who gave me great art and game, and my santee was OSI Bean Dip whom I gave some weird old books, an old keyboard, and an Intel Compute Stick with USER AIDS I also gave Silver Alicorn a knob with great feel as a random extra gift in 2016 I don't remember who my santa was but I got a mouse signed by Woz and my santee was Rosoboronexport, who I sent a couple games to make up for international shipping delays, plus an Apple limited edition T-shirt, an Intel Compute Stick with something far worse than USER AIDS on it, and a couple cat toys I also gave Luigi Thirty a 25 pound Lappy 386 that must still be coerced into showing a 3D rotating cube of some sort (bonus if on the utterly terrible built-in screen) here are our boys Bean and Froggey, who are now biiiiig at like 13 pounds and still growing (this pic was taken several months ago, they’d still try to fit now of course)  and here’s D’Anna, in the nice big box full of paper that siljmonster so thoughtfully sent her a couple years back

i'm in i like macs and audio and other electronics poo poo, uhh, scotch, weed, political science, couple years ago i gave A PINBALL WIZARD some dank cheese but he never posted about it and so was banned. i have this fantasy that the 2-year old cheese is stuck in some mailbox somewhere making the whole area super stinky for all eternity.

fart here are some interesting facts about me: i like unusual-but-good liquor and i hope you do too i like sending people things they don't want so good luck with that. i'm pretty sure variable_h would still sparkle if you shone a bright light on him i live in canada, which means if you don't then you can't send me drugs, meat, porn (especially animu "but she's a thousand year old demon" porn, which i wouldn't want anyway but not even as a joke cause our border guards don't find child porn all that funny), fruit or anything living, and it'd be really really nice if you didn't use a parcel service because they all charge terrible fees that probably exceed the value of your parcel i'll never make it to the end of my steam library after skyblazer bought out my wish list last year (and then overwatch got good), so now i spend my evenings wearing out mice and mouse feet and small wrist bones whose names i've forgotten. my wife enjoys the time to herself and would like to have even more of it, which is why we have no pets or children i like tinkering and fixing things, like pinball machines and simple furniture and other wooden articles coffee and cooking are also lots of fun; funhilde sent me some neat local spices that made some tasty meals and like all yosposters i enjoy anything that has to do with funny computer hooray for the spirit of yosmas and may your santee live on the same continent as you. long live the elf. also if said elf were to send me their own address i'd like that for no reason in particular https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XHwhKwJypE4

been meaning to do yosmas for the longest time but every year kept coming up with some dumb excuse not to so hi i like cattes, computers, communism, punching nazis, irony, beep boop computer music, dumb midi poo poo,  , US size M shirts, beer, whiskey/scotch/bourbon, not using apple products, posting, and the 1995 movie hackers starring johnny lee miller & angelina joliei already bought myself a shirt that says "git push & git paid" and another that's like those name & name & name ones but with alice, bob, eve & whoever else. only afterwards did i realise those are basically too nerdy to ever wear outside the house, so feel free to either avoid things like that out of compassion or deliberately send me another one just to own me, up to you i technically don't own cats of my own but my housemate has 2 large adult sons, archer & samson, so go hogwild with stuff for them since i'm basically their 2nd dad except in a mostly straight way. be warned they seriously are big boys tho, samson is literally the largest domestic cat i've ever seen irl  housemate & i are unlikely to go our separate ways any time soon but we are probably moving together soon, so i'll have everything sent to my parents' address just in case. we're in australia so please nothing that will get me arrested, or get stuck in customs, or perish during transit + the few extra days it may take for me to make time to visit my parents. that probably rules out like 100% of all extant things but it's up to you to figure out the specifics unfortunately. australian customs is strict but idk if that would even mean anything for a parcel full of jerky and mealworms https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ORpBAIB9j64 i technically have a steam wishlist but i'm a bit special and don't use it the normal way and so a few of the 198 titles in it might be things i don't actually want. i guess any of the first few up to and including the cities skylines dlcs are p safe bets or if you see one there that's a personal favourite of your own that's cool

e-mail sent, hopefully still in time, many thanks to pokejoe for reminding that this is still a thing now that i am a salaried adult and can participate as for the op checklist, idk. im fairly uptight and humourless, but otherwise stereotypical eastern euro. i like physics, math, computers, books, walking (and hiking), coffee, rainy/snowy weather, and terribly cooking obvious student meals. not much of a sports guy (occasionally watch biathlon or curling, just swim and gym myself). no pets, no affinity towards alcohol. shirt size M, steam wishlist technically here but my computer cant decently run at least half the games i want to play i live in latvia, meaning i most likely can't send or receive these - drugs, porn, any aerosol sprays, any liquids, any living thing or their by/products that aren't obviously labelled processed food (prolly still best to avoid, excl. tea/coffee), any weapons or ammo. a bit less restrictions inside eu ps. please dont send any footwear or headwear, its eternal pain to get those right for me cinci zoo sniper fucked around with this message at 23:09 on Nov 18, 2017 |
