I thought Joe and Rich's reasoning the reaction of the WWE lockerroom to Dave was pretty interesting in that they don't really have or need a connection with him like they used to back in the day. On the otherhand they thought the "Who hurt Black" segment was dumb and bad so as usually the Flagship is a land of contrasts

I've posted it other spaces and other's have seen it in discord, but working on a project with comrades from DSA that are burned out from organizing and wanting to just to do something that unites us in that being our love of wrestling. Specifically just doing an hour long AEW Dynamite focused pod (mainly because one of the hosts is one of the higher ups in the org); have a bunch of bonus content in my head already (also thinking we can still do Rampage since we have 3 core hosts and 2 back ups). This isn't a leftist critique of wrestling podcast because I find that banal and would be miserable if I had to week after week critique AEW Dynamite from a leftist position. Anyway we've been fiddling around with coming up with a name with a recent suggestion really sticking out "The Proletariat Lariat" or "The Lariat from the Proletariat" I'm showrunning this which is going to be stressful in that if any of you have met/talked with me (I did guest back in the old PSP pods back in the day) kind of a mumbler, but hopefully I can work through that! Anyway other title ideas include: Piledriver your Boss, Wrestling Reds, Pillmanize Your Workplace/Boss/Capitalist, No DQ, No Countouts, No Gods, No Masters, or Guerilla Position.

https://anchor.fm/the-proletariat-lariat/episodes/Proletariat-Lariat-Episode-4-The-Kliq-Wanted-This-Episode-Buried-e1euv5j I don’t envy Maria who had to edit this episode; to give context we record on zencaster after zoom watching the latest Dynamite, we had a person on the zoom call and went “Hey you want to be on the podcast?” He was like “sure” so you send the emails out which take a while, that person had to go do an errand so we decided “Eh let’s get this going” so he did a wrestling style run-in just as we got to reviewing Dynamite 30 mins in (which was appropriate since that’s all he watched anyway). Then zencaster hosed up and ended the recording early so we immediately launched another (it ended right in the middle of a discussion of the Eddie Kingston/Jericho promo) from my zencaster account and finished the show. Next day turns out DQ’s audio didn’t record so he decided to rerecord himself so as the main host of the week it’s all him just responding to the original recording. Will say I think it’s because of our experiences as DSA members that we take stack very seriously in not talking over one another has come really handy in this pod. Anyway next week probably going to stop reviewing Rampage and maybe open more with topics like we start out with Dax Hardword’s interview and toxic environments. Also forgot to mention with DSA; my chapter is raising funds for Abortion access for Western PA Fund for Choice, this an annual drive and I usually join the team with gimmicks like "If you donate I'll post a cool behind the scene museum picture; for this I'll still do that but will also give a shout out on the pod (if you want one just type how you want to be shouted out) https://fund.nnaf.org/fundraiser/3736237
