Safe lane is more difficult now because virtually every mitigation and regen item was removed from the side shop so your starting items need to be on point, and you'll be leaning on the courier a lot more. Also Poor Man's got removed, which is good because gently caress that item. Iron Talon was removed because people who want to jungle deserve nothing in life, offlane has closer access to runes but shrines are a bit further away, mid doesnt have as quick and easy access to their shrines. One of the biggest changes is that denying creeps is now much more punishing so you can bully your way into an exp advantage more reliably; pretty much everything is geared towards making early game advantages more significant and base cracking easier late game. Also the patch is live yall.

Echo Saber and crit dont proc on Swashbuckle by the way. Diffusal seems good though. Big mana problems early on. Check your facing before you roll.

Turbo mode gave me huge -apem flashbacks. The ability to buy anything from anywhere (including regen!!!!) breaks the laning phase, but its non-stop teamfighting!!!!! Also nerf the fairy, holy poo poo she is broken.

Swapping free move for invis is a buff for BM I think. Running into trees is way better than immediately dying when someone with a sentry wanders over

broodmother is great now. Losing free pathing from taking dmg and getting dusted 24/7 sucked and made it the niche pick she was. now she's viable all the time and a lot of fun. if being invis is a highlight of the hero you're loving garbage with garbage opinions. apem is fun but I feel like the towers need a tweak. Right now it's real easy to farm a deso/AC in 10 mins and end the game solo. Why would you do that in a fun game mode? Idk but ppl can and will. Test client last night was full of it. bane needs a nerf, pangolin is fun as gently caress but im curious to see what the pros do with it. Willow great in a 4 role bad in a 5 so far. contesting bounties is really bizarre now. Shrine changes good. HG changes good. Good patch. 5K+ is a poo poo show rn

Yeah, I decided against saying anything, but you should really play stealth heroes with the assumption that you -will- get revealed, and being able to fly past trees while revealed is pretty nice. Assuming your stealth is real stealth and not just a 33 gold tax per fight is a pretty good way to make some memorable throws.

I find playing with other people is more frustrating unless you manage to find a group all on the same skill level. It's a hard game to chill in, until turbo came along. Every now and then someone is determined to be a jerk, and when that happens you've just gotta mute them and encourage your teammates to do the same. But I'd say something like 4/5 of my games are pretty positive and chill when I do the above. And when that fifth game gets to me too bad, I just go and do something else for the night.

There were way too many games where if we don't get first blood someone on our team would throw a tantrum and start feeding. And when you have 1 person actively trying to throw before 10 minutes into the game its basically impossible to win unless the other team has someone throwing harder. So then you're trapped in a miserable game for 30 minutes at best. I don't mind losing but I at least want my team to try, cause if they aren't then why even bother playing?
