Apple's new "iBlacksmith Suite: Professional Edition" features the iForge, iAnvil, and the iHammer.

Hello everyone! I am doing this a bit early this year so as to make sure that everyone gets their gifts before Christmas and not sometime in January or beyond. I am also very busy so it will give me more time to organize things on my end.

I did not save anyone's info from last year, so even if you played before, you will still have to send me all of the info listed below. I am using the same email as last year, automotiveinsanity2016@gmail.com

Important Dates:
Tuesday, November 14th - REGISTRATION CLOSED.

Sunday, November 19th - All pairings will go out by end of day.

Saturday, December 9th - Ship-by Date: Ideal ship-by date. PLEASE do everything you can to have your gift on its way on or before this day.

Saturday, December 23rd - PoniesAteMyBagel-Day (Deadbeat Cut Off): If you have not provided proof of shipping by this date, you will be considered a deadbeat and will be banned.

Last year there were a lot of santees that did not post pictures and thank their santa. Please don't be a horrible jerk, it takes 5 minutes and the person who spent their time and money doesn't have to worry forever if you got it.

Registration:
-Please send the following info in the same format to automotiveinsanity2016@gmail.com.

-Username
-UserID: (this can be found by clicking on your profile and copying the number string at the end of the url -http://forums.somethingawful.com/me...userid=________)
-Shipping Label Name: (what you want me to send your Santa for him to slap on the shipping label. Real names, fake names, etc)
-Shipping Address: (please include all special info here for deliveries. Indicate if a signed delivery will be required for security reasons and I'll let your Santa know early)
-Santee Shipping: Domestic/North America/International (pick one). I only set this as there are a handful of countries that usually get involved, and it mainly boils down to Canada/US/UK/Nordic Countries/Australia. If it says Domestic and I see you're in Australia, I'll get it.

Then, you make a post in this thread. In your post please have:
- Any specific requests. If you don't want dicks drawn on the box say so, but I'm not making any promises.
- You may include an optional "do not send" list. Have enough T-shirts, maybe mention you'd prefer a neat little HF gadget/tool than another XL funny car guy t-shirt.

Proof of shipment rule
-No proof and your santee doesn't get a package? You're a deadbeat. When you ship your gift, you must provide proof of shipment. automotiveinsanity2016@gmail.com with the username of the person you're buying for and the tracking information. If anything goes pear shaped, at least we can figure out where. If you live near your santee and want to drop it off yourself, email me and tell me that you did.
-You must provide proof of shipment before the deadline. Please put the tracking number in your email. If you do not have a tracking number, you must EMAIL me a photo/scan of the shipping receipt.
- If you hit any speed bumps, have any questions, or need anything at all you can email or PM me.

Accepted types of proof
- Tracking number from UPS, Fedex, USPS, Canada Post, whatever
- Photo or scanned image of your shipping receipt with your username written on it. Most receipts have the zip code of the recipient, so this is how I will check these.

Gift cost
-Try and keep your gifts in the $20-40 range. Make sure you account for shipping cost. If you can't afford gift plus shipping, please don't register.
- Please do not spend stupid amounts of money on gifts for someone on the internet. Unless you're incredibly wealthy, have some sort of personal relationship with them, or it's loving hilarious and fills you with joy to send
- If you will be moving or traveling a lot during a gift time, please say so in your email and/or post so that I/your santa knows when and where is the best time to send your gift.

If you have ANY questions, concerns or anything you need at all. Please PM or email me!
Donations of scotch for dealing with all this are welcome!

If my Santa has an idea, that goon should mail me that idea first but if (s)he's stuck I offer these hints:
I take a 2XL (or XLT) shirt. I drive a crusty GMT800 Sierra. I like Toyotas and Mazdas and beer (I like skookum malty ales best if you're going that way) and electronic/audio poo poo and punk and I think I'm MR2 shopping now? (The Lexus is gone fyi). I am severely lacking in wall decoration right now, garagephallic water pump gaskets and otherwise. Special regional snacks and beverages are always cool.
To my Santee:
i am so sorry about the box of REDACTED im about to mail you :q:

gently caress yeah, I've got some junk to offload great and amazing things to give.

E: Shirt size is XLT, though since I lost 100lbs XLs seem to be fine on my 6'3" frame, I got some sweet homemade Toyota and Land Cruiser related shirts* last year and would never say no to more. As for automotive poo poo, I suffer from 40 Series Land Cruiser Syndrome, Hiluxitis, and if you want to buy me things for my Versa then I'll, idk, just be sad about it.

Hell yeah. I had to skip last year, but I'm definitely in this time.

Send anything. Mostly into 60s American iron and computer nerd poo poo (I'm an electrical engineer), but I'm down for just about all things. SHOW ME WHAT YOU GOT
Shirt size large (tall slim fit if you're getting really fancy, but don't sweat it).

Oh, also, prospective santa: the address I gave iForge is my parents' house, because that is where I will be for Christmas. So, if you send your poo poo early, don't worry if I don't post about it right away.

Definitely in for this year.

Stickers would be great, I've got shitloads of space on my toolboxes/bikes to fill. No specific suggestions other than that, if it helps I'm a code monkey by day and spend more time on the bicycle than moto. Shirt size is a medium/slim large. Only thing I'd suggest avoiding is food given I'm coeliac and customs would kick up a stink anyway.

I already got a SHOW ME WHAT YOU GOT t-shirt so don't send another one of those. Medium for shirts otherwise. Whatever you send is going to my work (it's easier because Auspost) so no dicks on the ablative layer please. Do what you will on the inside.

Tools always appreciated, stickers always fun.

I understand shipping to the land down under is a pain in the rear end so SHOW ME WHAT YOU GOT. Send something local to you. Send me a local beer or spirit or hot sauce! ("decorative bottle" for customs purposes) Hell a picture of a pretty sunset is nice.

What fun is a project if it doesn't at least slightly ruin your life?
Yay, I love AISS. My project thread died off into the archives as it's been a bit quieter. I have some things planned for it soon though...

About me, I wear medium shirts, own a 2001 BMW 540i, a 1967 Chevy c20 pickup and race a 1989 Chevy Camaro in Lemons. The latter two are powered by LT1's so assume I'm a bit weird. I like car parts, and am currently building a table out of a block M62 block (not out of my car thankfully).

My shipping address is my work, so please keep the outside of the box SFW.

Sup, I drive a shitbox 04 mazda 6 sportwagon, like rotary powered cars and LS engines, sell auto parts and generally enjoy farting around with oily bits. Other hobbies include not fixing my boat so I can't go fishing because its a stupid expensive hobby, drinking cider and whiskey and reading trashy scifi.

No dicks on the outside of the box please, feel free to go nuts on the inside. No clothes since finding things that fit on my goony meat carcass is impossible. Tools, crap to hang on walls and other assorted gubbins are always appreciated, or just cool stuff from your neck of the woods.

Edit: And sorry iForge, but for some reason the email decided to come out a bit... Green. Not sure how it happened and could figure out how to fix it because I'm a dumb.
