TheRationalRedditor posted:That's the entirety of the suspense. He's been gone a really, really, really long time and I don't think it was ever a good idea past 1 year off. GSP's worst case scenario is that he looks more like he did when he lost to Matt Serra no the worst case scenario is Bisping just completely owns him for 5 rounds and cruises to a lopsided decision while beating him on the feet, taking him down and beating him up, and then maybe yelling out a french slur or ten

Bundt Cake posted:if this was ten years ago, id pick gsp confidently Bisping is craftier on the feet and will easily win, unless GSP figured out how to do more than jab at range. He's not going to have the reach to be able to force Bisping to the outside, and he's probably not going to have an easy time taking him down if he can even manage it.

Le Saboteur posted:Joanna has shown some weakness on the ground in the past, and Rose loves to jump on that RNC. I don't know if its a live enough bet, but I might go for it. She's been taken down by an excellent well-rounded fighter in Gadelha who is huge and strong and is a good wrestler and good grappler and hits hard for the division.

Bubba Smith posted:McGregor is going to punch Tony Ferguson a lot. I don't think there hasn't been a fight where Ferguson didn't take a few hard shots, usually he ends up a bloody mess, but his cardio takes him to victory cause guys get tired punching him so many times and his chin is good. He will probably crack Tony 3-4 times and then Tony goes down for good. He starts way too slowly and is hittable early for this to go well.

Anderson Silva should fight GSP for the middleweight title when he comes off suspension and let Bobby Knuckles fight Wide Man.

Le Saboteur posted:Roxanne Modafferi tends to win more money tonight than she's earned in her entire career as her show and win works out to 100k/100k. And apparently her contract even if she loses is 50k/50k going forward so good for her. I only learned about this because Tim Elliott is complaining about this on Instagram. Roxy has 3x the number of Twitter followers, seems legit.

Work Friend Keven posted:Roxy trained in Japan because womens MMA didn't exist in America at the time and as a result she internalized and used the Japanese MMA training schema, like Don't do weights because that's for homos, Don't accidentally beat anyone whos been at the dojo longer than you because it's rude, always skootch yourself around the floor on your back after every class to show respect and clean the floor etc. and as a result she sucked like all Japanese fighters do. But I guess she's with a real team now and someone told her how to throw a punch. my favorite roxy thing ever is when Sarah Kaufmann, noted 1-2-1 puncher knocked her out with a slam. my second favorite roxy thing ever is when a flyweight boxer did the same thing on TUF
