they could always have the base skills do different damage/effect based on the weapon you used. Like a skill that debuffs the enemy's def when used with a mace but gives a chance to bind their legs when used with a sword.

Anyone tried using a Rover in the front row? I'm thinking of doing Hound Rover/Chain Fencer/Necro/Warlock/Shaman but I'm afraid of the lack of healing. I want to do chain killer shenanigans too.

yeah, fire bomb leads to good skills but it's terrible to use on its own. I guess if you really need to use fire magic for conditionals even the first boss where it might be useful, I ended up using poison bomb a lot more.

If I remember correctly, you're supposed to be on the ground to reach the boss area. It should be directly on top of the starting area.
