I’m sure he’s right but he’s also a dick. I have a weird love hate relationship with actors. They kinda creep me out sometimes while watching them work. I appreciate the dedication to the craft but holy hell are some of these people just so off.

Making bad jokes isn’t illegal and I don’t get the point in digging up lovely jokes as a “SEE!!! SEE!!!” thing. It happened to Trevor Noah too and it’s like, alright? Are they still making those jokes? Is that where their work is at in 2018? Also this has been brought up before and also, why again. Is it to kill his career? What’s the end game?

I signed it. This post can come back to haunt me if Gunn murdered someone years ago but whatever. Even if he doesn't get it back, I just don't want there to be this horrible stigma that ends his film career. His films mean a lot to me, and one of them even sorta helped me work through some issues I was dealing with. So yey for that.

i was actually going to sign that too... Anyway, Dan Harmon looks to be the next target. He made a gross video that I can't find because it apparently was taken down in 2012, and he has a sex with a baby doll? I don't know if he had a point or just wanted to be edgy. But it, like the Gunn tweets, was just a nasty gross joke. That being said, some right wingers found it and are now using that as proof that's a pedophile, they made a video of it and only seemed to use the grossest clips, and there doesn't seem to be any other way to watch it, so that video is all you have. Since he deleted it. It was scrubbed. Gone. So here we go folks.

In the script that scene sets up Olivia Munn’s character as someone who is super intelligent and takes zero poo poo from anyone. The jogger is hitting on her, and she talks science and what she does, studying evolutionary change for animals and such. He replies “you mean like when a man meets a beautiful woman?” Her face turns sour and she says “no like survival of the fittest” and then she burns the guy by pointing out Darwin’s theory includes agility, intelligence, ect, but “all you need these days is to be a straight white guy” Then she talks about dropping a big CEO in the desert and see how long he lasts, and what color he’ll end up when an animal shits him out. The guy gets nervous and fucks off. That’s the whole scene. It’s sorta important setting up Munn’s character but not that important it couldn’t be cut.

I think what she did was good, but it does feel like the whole film was tossed under the bus . This will no doubt affect the film’s box office and it probably wasn’t going to do all that great. Reviews are coming out and it’s getting a lukewarm response, similar to Predators. And you have people are talking about not seeing it on principal, and hoping Shane doesn’t work again. It’s a weird situation. I’m glad it was cut. But I can understand the cast feeling iffy about it.

I think straight up everyone knew that this movie wasn’t going to be a mega hit, it wasn’t tracking too well early on, the teaser trailer was really bad, reshoots, script changes...and now this. The film is straight up tainted now and since this keeps getting bigger and bigger, it’s going to be its legacy. I can imagine everyone is pretty bummed, if not pissed about this. It’s Shane’s fault, but now the whole ship is going down with everyone on it.
