It really feels like a big lovely band aid is being ripped off right now and I hope it continues. I want every disgusting prick in the public sphere to be outed by this time next year at the latest. Hopefully this leads to more people feeling safe enough to speak up about non-famous assholes in their lives too.

Has anyone seen Alex Winter’s HBO doc Showbiz Kids? Evan Rachel Wood talks about being at the golden globes and watching a pedophile get up and accept an award, and she walks out because of it, but doesn’t say who it was. Any clues as to who this might be? Someone in the Bryan Singer circle? It was in the context of her knowledge of male child actors being abused. I understand why she doesn’t name who it is but part of me wishes she did and HBO had the balls to air it.

What the hell is up with companies continuing to support people like this. It’s just bad business - this guy brought down a ton of bad PR and tarnished a flagship program permanently in a lot of people’s eyes (though I realize that most people don’t know or don’t care about all this). Like, what’s with the loyalty to this mediocre dude?
