I think I've been playing 18xx wrong the whole time... Does this also apply to the "simple" stock market games? After a company floated, we always paid market price in both 18CZ and 1846.

The shares stay in the treasury, and there is just the market price that gets paid into the treasury. Usually full capitalization games have an IPO, while partial capitalization games do not.

Side note, unless I'm mistaken, CMV and SHR were both supposed to move a step up on the stock market, right? (to 68 and 72 respectively) Built tiles at F25 and E24. No station placed. Running trains for 110$ and 60$. Dividends paid: 68 to me. 34 to The General, Orvin, and Tekopo. SHR stock price moves right to 76.
