there was an invaluable thread in tv/iv once about what season to stop watching any show at. no unspoilered spoilers but definitive answers on where to stop watching. i cant find the drat thing the only one i remember for sure was cutting miami vice at season 4

apparently greg daniels left after season 4? i always end up seeing things to the end though. i watched all of prison break for example. 2 prisons, 2 now we're out of the prison and iirc one was just like, there's horcruxes on a computer called scylla

people say The Office starts getting bad in season 4 those people are wrong, Scott's Tots and Murder are among the best episodes in the show. they probably are just mad that the bullshit jim and pam will they/won't they ends with "they will" because when has that question ever not people are also wrong about Dexter. don't watch through season 4. stop after season 1 unless you hunger for increasingly pale imitations of the ice truck killer arc where dexter meets somebody who is Like Him but then he has to kill them because actually they are Not, he is truly alone, optionally a major cast member dies, he is truly alone. or if you love watching deb dick around with her elderly boyfriend and other people in dexter's office getting family drama that goes absolutely nowhere I don't know maybe you do since you love jim and pam so loving much

The second and third seasons are the only ones really worth a drat. There are good episodes scattered in the rest of the series, but that's all that really holds up.

Someone told me that steve carrell leaves the office in the office, so he doesnt work in the office anymore. If true, that is unfortunate, as he is the funniest person in the office.

Season 6 or 7 I think, but they try to make her and Ed Helms' character the new Jim/Pam and it doesn't work at all. I hate Ed Helms' character so much. He was clearly designed as a bit player and got stretched past the breaking point.
