I was on a different forum, and once I got past the numerous "The show is ruined" posts, once particular hot take I saw was that she shouldn't have been cast because Chibs had worked with her before, and that the BBC should've have made him cast someone else.

I can see the Rosa Parks episode working if they play it as it's a fixed point in history that someone's trying to disrupt to change history, and The Doctor and her friends are running around in the background to make sure the plans fail with any of the principal characters (Rosa, etc) knowing that they are there.

But they probably won't do that.

If it's true, it'll be interesting to see what the revamped Big Finish covers will look like. Will they go back to the Black Bar covers? Will they use the stacked one (which they kind of do already for the reverse Fourth Doctor covers)? Or the horizontal?

Despite the people who dislike it, there are plenty who love it and get very emotional over it. Went to the Doctor Who orchestral concert thing a decade back, and there were a bunch of audience members openly crying at that scene playing out.

I liked Tennant's last line, because other than Two (who was basically being executed), Six (who, along with Mel, was unconscious at the time), and Seven (who was being ~~murdered~~ operated on in the ER), all the other regenerations were about the Doctor trying to reassure the companions who were with him that everything was going to be all right ("A tear, Sarah Jane?", "It's the end, but the moment has been prepared for.") This was him, alone, and it felt like we really got to see what his feelings towards regeneration were. And he didn't want to do it. It's not comforting to him to change. To become a new person. To him, it's not all right. He's going away, and he's never coming back. And it's the last thing he ever wants.
