I use mine just a simple 58" 1080p HD tv. Not smart and I got it for 200 bucks on OfferUp. Plug in your laptop with HDMI. There, you can play all the lovely games and watch all your downloaded porn in one place.

Content that is actually filmed in 48 or 60 FPS is fine. Frame interpolation that converts 24 or 30 FPS to 60 FPS or higher is total trash and makes everything look like low budget garbage. so TV sizes will probably max out at 100inches unless its something custom like a home theater system but how the gently caress are you going to mount something that heavy to a wall without the tv ripping the studs out the wall? Am I going to have to put a steel support beam in my wall or something?

Yeah I agree. It's really sucks when you're stoned. It strips the gloss right off the production. I want to watch a movie, not just watch some cunts stand in front of a camera reciting lines from a script. So we might get HDTVs with 4K@120Hz and 8K@60Hz next year but so what? Is there any actual content in 4K120 or 8K60? Is there affordable gaming hardware that can run games at 4K120 or 8K60?

Why are companies still producing 720p TVs. I don't know much about the production of screens, but is it something where material intended for a 1080p of a larger size was defective but they could salvage what they could by making a smaller screens that would end up having lower resolution as a result? A stockpile of old 720p screens? Just that much cheaper to produce?
