As a big fan of the Spoons burg I will soon be indulging in the Christmas burger they have just announced on their festive menu. Its a chicken burger with stuffing,cranberry sauce (although I will swap that with gravy) and pigs in blankets.

I tired one of those in the airport in Vegas (as well as impossible meat cigars in a vegan restaurant in LAW called Crossroads) it's really really close to actual meat it just lacks the density, it crusts up nicely like a real burger and has a decent flavour. I did find it funny that the place in vegas sold all of them with a slice of dairy cheese.

Had one of my favourite burgs last night, the place I get it from calls it a Tikka Combo, it’s primarily a peri peri chicken burger with a beef patty and salad in a soft floured bun. It doesn’t sound that special in writing but this thing is food of the gods the Chicken is a butterflied breast coated in freshly made peri peri sauce (they have 4 levels of spicy) the salad is more like a slaw and the bun is soft and almost has a chewy texture. Then for some reason they added what must be the cheapest beef patty they could find seriously this is like the kind of beef burger you’d get in prison yet some how it works! I would have snapped a photo but it was my first in a long time and I got over excited.
