That was a great start for the Hawks, but they have been a little vulnerable in the second periods so far this year. So hopefully they don't give the Ducks too many opportunities to get back into it.

like if this is a "young" team and should actually be bad right now, by the time they're able to contend by hak's standards, giroux/voracek/simmonds will all be like 31/32 and what's the loving point a bunch of the core is older and none of the younger players look to be super loving incredible franchise players beyond ghost and provorov. i guess coots is really good when too when, surprise, he's with good players it's frustrating but i'm blaming hak. gently caress it
