It has limited production values and actually tries to resemble a competition. The 2nd is Vince, Brain and the Body Building Expert. It has full deal production, complete with Ninjas and machine guns. They eschew the whole competition thing for good ol fashion Vince Muscle Mass Porn.

Great American Bash 1991. Uncensored 1995 is bad, but it's a more innocent horribleness, not aggressively making GBS threads on you as everything WCW did under Russo. Seem to remember Slamboree 1997 being pretty awful, too. It had Steve McMichael taking on Reggie White. That's bad enough by itself, but I think they got 15 minutes. One of the last Clashes was really bad as well. I'm thinking of the one with Benoit and Sullivan battling in the loo, but am too lazy to see which one that was.

Slamboree 1997 has a great main event, and if they're the ones I'm thinking of I remember Meng/Benoit and Malenko/Jarrett being good. I need to rewatch it but I think it was an overall good show

Yeah Meng/Benoit was fantastic and there was a 6 man tag that worked well but slamboree 97 was a mess on the whole and had a ton of swerves and betrayals. E: Uncensored and Starrcade were the brutal 1997 shows as I recall. DJExile fucked around with this message at 13:18 on Dec 7, 2017 |
