Nonsense. I have not yet begun to defile myself.

I remember the battle royal being not bad. Bill Fralic and William Perry were out there trying

Last I looked, both raw and smackdown had huge holes here and there. 2010 is a good example... they had maybe 20 combined episodes for the whole year. Was there a really huge update?

I always like the subtle thing of NFL player Russ Francis being the one football player who lasted the longest in the battle royal; his father had been a pro wrestler

no there were 2.

The first is just Vince and an actual Body Building Expert. It has limited production values and actually tries to resemble a competition.

The 2nd is Vince, Brain and the Body Building Expert. It has full deal production, complete with Ninjas and machine guns. They eschew the whole competition thing for good ol fashion Vince Muscle Mass Porn.

I can't remember which of the two it was but one of them had Vince in the throes of a two minute orgasm over Gary Strydom's entrance. Like goddamn, it almost redeems the entire PPV.

The Guest Host era was something else. Some of them (Shaq, Jeremy Pivens, Rose from Golden Girls) seemed to know exactly what was going on and sell the gently caress out of it, some (Jewel, ZZ Top) were obviously just there to make a quick buck and didn't care about the product at all.

Guest Hosts received minimal appearance fees, sometimes just a charity arrangement.

Great American Bash 1991.

Uncensored 1995 is bad, but it's a more innocent horribleness, not aggressively making GBS threads on you as everything WCW did under Russo.

Seem to remember Slamboree 1997 being pretty awful, too. It had Steve McMichael taking on Reggie White. That's bad enough by itself, but I think they got 15 minutes.

One of the last Clashes was really bad as well. I'm thinking of the one with Benoit and Sullivan battling in the loo, but am too lazy to see which one that was.

Big Coffin Hunter

Slamboree 1997 has a great main event, and if they're the ones I'm thinking of I remember Meng/Benoit and Malenko/Jarrett being good. I need to rewatch it but I think it was an overall good show

Yeah Meng/Benoit was fantastic and there was a 6 man tag that worked well but slamboree 97 was a mess on the whole and had a ton of swerves and betrayals.

E: Uncensored and Starrcade were the brutal 1997 shows as I recall.
