Fil5000 posted:At least Minuet is firmly into "this is ridiculous" territory. As opposed to Stones of Venice which is just tedious as balls. Wasn't Stones of Venice one of the stories initially written to try to get Tom to record with Big Finish? I think Holy Terror was too, with K-9 instead of Frobisher.

I just bought the First Doctor box set with David Bradley. How is it, overall? Should I go in expecting to be amazed, or is it just OK?

Just finished the Mondasian Cybermen two-parter. Man, that was a drat good "Doctor Who." John Simm and Michelle Gomez were GREAT together, and Peter Capaldi was amazing. When he just explains himself to The Masters, it was phenomenal. Now I need to watch "Twice Upon a Time."

I watched "Twice Upon a Time" and didn't really like it. The writing was all over the place and One was just written all wrong. There were some genuinely nice moments in it, but the Cybermen two-parter should've been Capaldi's finale.
