Yeah you catch higher level and IV'd pokemon in the weather. In addition you can catch raid bosses at 5 levels higher during their equivalent weather.

Agreed. Did my first absol raid today because the weather boosted fighting pokemon so it was an easy 2 man and I need that pokedex entry man. It was shiny. Still haven't gotten a shinny magikarp (and they are fairly common here) but got shuppet, duskull and now absol.

Our machamps were slightly lower leveled and did it with 30 seconds left. We needed 6 machamp, but I think you might be fine if it doesn't have psycho cut as a fast move.

I have 26 Feebas candy I think and 40 Lotad candy. So before the new wave comes out I'm just missing Breloom, Wailord, Milotic and Lombre/Ludicolo (could evolve to Lombre if I had/wanted to). And the babies obviously.

My GF and I both just got an ex raid pass. To a raid in Florida at a gym we only put pokemon in back in September. She is pissed.

edit: if anyone is near Osprey floriday (LOL I'm pretty sure no one is) and would go for us I would be a huge fan.

I believe shinies are more common from raids than wild encounters, just like IVs are better. IDK for sure though. Got shiny absol on my first absol raid, did 7 mawile with no shiny though.

Actually I think he said that because no one has gotten a shiny Lugia since the event started. That only lasted ~5 hours, and shiny lugias are available again. I know me and a few others were only raiding for the chance of shiny.

it's actually one of Niantic's better thought out systems

only for specific trades. you can trade generic pokemon for a grand total of 4 dust at best friends level. as far as I know this chart is still accurate:

FYI this chart isn't correct. There's a floor of 100 stardust for a trade - so trading a pokemon you both have with a friend will never lower between 100 dust.

Correct! But the floor for lucky pokemon is 10/10/10 (which is the same as eggs/raids).

I won't personally be there but I know the "host" from raiding and he's a pretty cool guy. Counterbalance park is at 700 Queen Anne Ave N. Be on time, be prepared to walk and raid/catch at the same time, and be willing to run if it has bad IVs and they're already at the next raid. Bonus: it takes you through all of downtown. Have fun!

We did this for an hour and a half. Thanks for the recommendation. Started a bit slow (the first gym was locked due to an ex raid, the second had so many people there that everyone seemed to get kicked out), but eventually we sped forward with a smaller group of people and a bunch of fun. Thanks again!

I had one of the raid invites for a tier 5 in 20 min, a 5 min walk from my work. I busted down there with hella people. Dragged a coworker who I'm 30 days friends with down and invited her, but turned out to be mewtwo. It took my premium raid pass too, even though it showed the ex raid pass was taken.

That's what the tweet said, but then I got a notification after the current raid was cancelled that my ex-raid was cancelled. They game me two premium passes and 1000 stardust.
