There's only 3 ex possible city center gyms for me, 1 of which isn't really city center at all, all because the cities parks are way out to the sides. So I need to hope that I'm near one of the 2 okay gyms to get to when they have raids open for me to get the chance to beat them to then get the opportunity to come back to them at a specific time slot on another day. In a city of nearly 600k.

I got an ex raid pass! It's on a random fuckin monday afternoon, between 1pm and 1.45pm, so I guess I need to take my lunch at 12.45 and hope I get there for 1 on the dot so people don't start, whilst making sure I have enough time to get back to work. All while not getting a chance to eat. Why, Niantic, isn't it at the weekend, or at the least on the loving bank holiday that's on this Monday, why is it on the 3rd?

Catch. Every. Mon. Or at least click on to them. I misclicked on an Atom when I was trying to get something else this morning, and it turned out to be a shiny. Then, walking to the bus station, I saw a Luvdisc. No real point in catching one, even if it's 100 IV it's not exactly useful, but I thought "there's nothing else to catch just now" and when I clicked into it, it was a shiny too.

Not AR+, I don't think, but since the update the game is forcing capture into the camera mode, even though camera is not allowed, so it's a plain white background. I've reinstalled, and it's still the same. Any ideas? Edit: enabled camera permissions, restarted app, it asked if I wanted AR+, and then I was able to click the slider to turn all AR off, and we're back to normal. mehall fucked around with this message at 08:35 on Oct 16, 2018 |
