One day I came home from work and found this on the sill of my bedroom window: I named him Stuart. He wasn't like the other birds, here at the trailer park. But then it turned out that I had misgendered him, because one day there were 4 little blue eggs in the nest. Alas, this wasn't a good nesting location, and every time I'd get up to leave the bedroom or enter the bedroom or turn a light on in the bedroom Stuart would fly away, leaving the baby birds exposed to the elements. One day there were only three baby birds, then two, then one, and then the nest was empty and Stuart flew off hopefully to be a more chill and successful mother elsewhere. That's my bird story. I picked up a bigass 2.8 300mm lens with a 2x teleconverter. The downsides are that it's huge and it's only manual focus. But man.
