I got distracted by life after the premiere and just caught up with the season. This is exactly what I've been missing in my life.

It's reminding me more and more of peak SG-1.

I've been enjoying the season but I agree the bleak future timeline has overstayed its welcome. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad if we hadn't just come off of the framework season which also got a bit tiresome by the end.
