 I think it would actually make a lot of sense for the WWE to purchase the Arena league, and try to revive that brand of football. Everything about indoor football just seems to fall way more into Vince's wheelhouse. Even doing something like making the league a traveling show instead of pinning franchises to a specific geography could help them avoid a bunch of the pitfalls that are plaguing the current indoor leagues.

e: One of my favorite parts of reading LONG BOMB was that the XFL hired a bunch of problem coaches and players hoping it'd lead to personality clashes and sideline fights, but those guys all saw the XFL as their chance to change their reputations and make it back into professional ball, and so ended up being huge disappointments for the league when they didn't blow up or cause drama
