Talktotransformer goes absolutely mental, if you feed it anything written in Cyrillic. There was clearly no distinction made between languages with Cyrillic script in its sample data, so it produces a weird concoction of Slavic (I can pick up bits and bobs of at least Russian, Ukrainian, and Serbian) and Turkic languages (probably Kazakh, Bashkir, etc.). quote:Коммунизм есть Советская власть плюс электрификация всей страны, ибо якнция те подержитьивают верют, в подражение рев это мирублики бастиров этожать гострих мирублику. Entropist posted:I tried Dutch and it comes up with a weird thing that contains mostly Dutch morphemes and syllables, with some German and French and also historical Dutch mixed in, but with many non-words and no sensible meaning associations, although it does get the basic sentence structure. Seems like it only managed to store information at the sub-word level about Dutch, combining morphemes into words in syntactically acceptable but semantically nonsensical ways! Cool. Oh, nice. I should try some other languages.

Yontelbrot is just a made-up Ashkenazi Jewish last name. Yontel is a variant of the Jewish name Yentl that most likely comes from Italian, and brot is a typical last name ending of German origin. When translated literally from original languages, it means gentle/noble bread.

I also haven't been detected, but I would attribute it to reddit's posting culture, where if you see a weirdo spouting semi-intelligible nonsense, you just downvote and move on. I did get some upvotes, too, for posts where the algorithm praised bitcoin.

This is how it was described in the news. quote:The album itself was created in collaboration with AI generating new lyrics and musical compositions with the input data of the hooks, rhythms, melodies, and lyrics of artists from the 27 club. The obvious crucial part of the whole endeavour was that a bunch of living people, who know what makes Nirvana Nirvana, listened to a bunch of white noise, and produced something that sounds like Nirvana, when performed by a Nirvana tribute band. It's for a good cause, but I think some people were mislead by headlines and the flowery copy on their website. Paladinus has a new favorite as of 19:13 on Jul 2, 2021 |
