oh cool i really liked transmission on mac but i remember checking back in the day and there was no pc vetsion. are there any writeups on the malware attacks?

Looks like someone popped their web server and replaced the file (Saw a post from one of the Panic guys that now whenever anything changes on their website, someone in their Slack has to comfirm it within 5 minutes or the whole website gets shut down). ESET did a look at the actual malware itself

transmission has a garbage ui. deluge is a bad copy of utorrent but it’s serviceable. I haven’t tried any other clients that aren’t in a repo I can trust because they are all sketchy as gently caress
