With the presents unwrapped, now is the time to snap a picture of all the sports memorabilia you got this year! As you can guess, I'm an Astros fan, so I asked my family to give me as much World Series swag as possible.  Not pictured: a pennant and a Blu-ray of the World Series film.

An aunt and uncle got me a Yankees book. I am from Georgia. They are originally from Georgia. When I was a child, my parents and I attended a handful of Atlanta Braves games together with this couple and their child. This man is not a Yankees fan, either. No doubt they got the book on deep discount and thought it was a good idea because "you like sports." I could understand many cheap sports gifts. A general baseball book or something. But it's specifically about the Yankees. A book about the Mets would be less insulting or even a book of affirmations from Bud Selig or science facts from Aubrey Huff.
