Yep. The more people around me, the more often this happens. It is infuriating! I've found that minimizing the amount of programs running in the background helps a bit.

Chocotaco uses 7.1 and he's a wizard and location footsteps. Conversely I use stereo and I can't place people to save my life.

Last night I was walking down a San Martin suburb and saw a Bronco parked alongside a multistory building and glimpsed a few people inside. I shotgunned one of the tires and ambled into the shoot house because gently caress them, I don't have to get to the zone, let's do this. The realities of 1 vs many firefights in PUBG means the odds are always against me but damned if I don't feel like some sort dime-store Joker.

It's a good way to practice playing with goon squads too.

Someone described the new map as a, "meat grinder", and I absolutely agree. Training Grounds in particular is just like an aim practice map from decades ago, it even looks like one. Also, I ran into and barely won a 1v1 against Grimmz last night, which was the high point of me mostly getting turned into ground beef all night.
