The Way of the Gun is on Netflix now, and it basically takes place in Miramar. It's a fun action movie with semi-realistic gunplay and pretty much everyone is an unlikable rear end in a top hat. Edit: I'm pretty sure the vehicle used by the protagonists is what the Miramar Canyonero is based on and there's even a scene where it's used as rolling cover. It's squads only. Got 3 chicken dinners last night and it was hilarious fun. It's great to just go "gently caress it" and rush enemy squads with the pan and then come out on top.

Apex Legends is a nice alternative when I'm not up for the PUBG grind. It's definitely closer to Blackout, but free is good and I enjoyed Titanfall 2 a lot so I'm liking the gameplay. The context pinging and voice call outs are really nice, but I'm not sure if they would work in PUBG.
