this game needs more goofy dumb game modes idea: The Running Man. 99 players in 33 teams of 3 that drop from the plane regular PUBG style, 100th player starts on the ground and is the Running Man. whoever kills the Running Man gets auto chicken dinner, regardless of how many players left in the game, but the Running Man's got buffed health, move speed, and a loot advantage to try and even it out. or maybe a melee only game mode with smaller circles, like the lobby but with health and frying pans and sickles

the lever action rifles on Miramar are fun as gently caress honestly there should be an old west gimmick mode for Miramar: no armor and a restricted weapon list with lever-actions, the sawed-off shotgun, and the 1895 revolver (maybe reskin frag grenades to dynamite for it)

Honestly I don't mind the desert map, it's just new and needs tuning. More vehicle spawns and a better loot table would pretty much immediately salvage it. Also, yeah, voice chat is loving staggeringly awful in this game. I pretty much only use it outside of duo/squad to micspam meme music. (On a related note, props to the guy who was blasting Take On Me last night, that was a good experience) Regarding your edit1: I know you can set up a custom server, I'm less sure about custom maps. You should be able to make one, in theory, in the UE4 editor, but I'm not sure if the PUBG assets are open for use, so you might have to roll your own and I'm not sure how plugging it into the game would work. Regarding edit2: PUBG is CPU and RAM hungry as gently caress and isn't gonna play nice with most other apps open, I have an i5-4690k and have to close everything to get good framerates pretty much. okay holy loving lol i just had the greatest thing happen in solo queue i was chasing a guy immediately after landing, trying to box him, ate some fall damage from trying to superman punch him from a hill he got in a car to try and run me over I dashed up and got in the loving passenger seat and he... kinda had no idea wtf to do eventually he tried crashing the car into a wall but i bailed and died of fall damage, and he went prone by my corpse as if to pay respects e: my rank was terrible, but the laughs I got out of that were 100% worth it

honestly, i think there's audience overlap between Fortnite and PUBG but people are probably just gonna play both Fortnite is what you pick up if you just want some arcadey bullshit, PUBG is what you pick up if you wanna do tryhard Arma stuff, I'm personally into both depending on my mood  e: so, should I sell crates or open them? I can get pretty much a guaranteed ~75 cents ish from selling a crate, but it seems like some of the items have a way higher potential return.

miramar is honestly fine and just needs... more stuff in it like, a few little towns on the outskirts of Leones and a couple more around Pecado-ish would pretty much fix my problem with the map; I love fighting in the cities/towns but the wide open fields suck rear end

It really kind of seems like they're trying to push Miramar as the game's new "main" map. 2 out of the 3 event modes so far have been on it and the map rotation seems weighted heavily towards Miramar. I don't like it.

that's... that's not the argument they're making. at all. that twitter person is a loving idiot and needs to stop talking. they're not claiming they invented loving med kits, they're claiming that this ROS game is directly copying the implementation of medkits they used with 3 "tiers", bandage, first aid, and medkit. they're not claiming they invented SMGs, they're claiming that this KO game did incredibly half-assed edits of their models (that "MP5" is literally just the PUBG UMP9 with a bunch of bits hacked off it)

here's a thought: get the loving steam app on your phone and enable 2FA so you don't have to wait 3 weeks for marketplace trades, goddamn if you don't have a smartphone just get bluestacks and pop the steam app on it, you'll lose a lot of the actual security benefit of 2FA but it'll bypass the stupid marketplace bullshit (mine don't go up immediately but i just have to confirm them on my phone which takes like 2 seconds)
