If anything, I think people are more afraid to go out because the more recent incident at Flinders/Elizabeth St. And that's more to do with drug and mental health issues and the lack of services to help address them. Which, you know, Malcolm COULD go out on a limb and say they'll drop some funding on. But nah, best to find an immigrant scapegoat.

I work in emergency services in Melbourne and I’m more afraid of white trash fuckheads than of our lovely multicultural community.
