Yvonmukluk posted:Bad Machinery For those not familiar with Scary-Go-Round, these strips are referencing some events from it. You see (warning: webcomic silliness ahoy, and I guess minor Bad Machinery spoilers) after Erin drank a growth potion that turned her into an Amazon-like beauty, her high school principal (totally-not-Aleister Crowley) decides that she had to be his bride, because he has to marry someone to open a portal to Hell). But then the portal is reversed and the principal and Erin are sucked into Hell. He dies almost immediately but Erin lives, and shortly takes the place over, becoming Queen of Hell. She gets bored, though, and returns to Earth where no one remembers who she is. So yeah, the boys are signing a document with their blood that’s written by Devil in these strips here. But it’s never brought up again in Bad Machinery so she’s really just messing with them.

I don't see how it took the illusion and/or their reactions to it to make that deduction. They already had the faces of the people you're speaking of. It's a pretty sure bet that heavily involved.

Bad Machinery [1] "[1 posted:"]Erin was a character I struggled with in Scary Go Round, but she makes sense in Bad Machinery. She's only 21 or 22, in real money not really much more of an adult than Sonny and Linton, but she lords it over them so well. She operates on so many levels that they can't hope to understand, she runs rings around them!

Bad Machinery is another one that I like in fits and spurts, but it seems to be hitting a stride right now that I'm really enjoying. I really like the art, so I keep giving it a try, and I think I"m finally starting to see the appeal in it. Lottie's energy juice in the last set really got me, and now the boys yelling at the chief about his computer habits.

Bad Machinery is so good. I initially didn't like it because I read Scary-go-round when it started and loving hated it, but this is amazing.
