Welcome to 2018, time to look back on the past year and pick a few of your favourite images. Lets try to limit it to a 5-10 images to keep things manageable. In no particular order.

Here, let me post some noob poo poo as a palate cleanser after the pretty awesome OP: Wow, I sure do take a lot of pictures of my kid. Hoping to branch out more in the coming year.

I did some cool stuff in 2017. I traveled some, and shot more on both digital and film than ever before. My photo-resolution for 2017 was to do some portraiture, and I did, but it was loving awful and none of it is in here. My 2018 photo-resolution is to get more organized with concepts, and turn loose collections with similar themes into actual series.

I picked up photography last year because I wanted a hobby that didn't involve sitting in front of a PC or a TV and still do alone. 2017 was a garbage year for me, as far as photos go -- I didn't even pick up a camera after sometime in April. I'm hoping 2018 gives me more opportunities to get out, since I've got a new job and a three-week trip to Japan booked. (I've also decided that's where I'll burn my last roll of Astia, as it seems the most appropriate use of it.)
