People were legitimately excited for Ramon Sessions, Starting Lakers Point Guard just because they were so thankful that it wasn't Fisher anymore.

He used to alternate between good years and bad years. He had a good year in Milwaukee which earned him a sleeper title, then disappointed his next season. Went to Cleveland, had another good year. Next season, had a bad start until he was traded to the Lakers and got some hype back. Disappointed again, went to Charlotte, had another good run. Next season, sucked again until traded to Milwaukee. By the time he came to Sacramento a bunch of fans thought we had a legitimate good player and it was maddening

To be honest, I am constantly surprised at learning what NBA players eat. I mean we are talking about some of the very best athletes in the world, performing top tier in one of the most athletically-demanding (from an overall standpoint) sports, and then you read that a beast like Dwight eats 2lbs of candy per day and has secret stashes around his house (?!?), or Rose and his skittles, or heaps and heaps of PBJ sandwiches etc.

I'd always assumed that they all min-maxxed like body builders and basically ate 5 gigantic meals of brown rice, broccoli, and chicken breast every day all season long.

Tyreke Evans used to eat some chicken alfredo from Chili's before every game which confuses me on multiple levels

I've been arguing against this for years but nobody listens to your man dokmo. It is better to allow the offense to iso up against a mismatch and bring help than to try a complicated read and switch maneuver that nobody can perform when you don't have the smartest defenders on your roster.

Dude I've understood this for years after spending all this time playing pick-up ball with no talent bigs who insist on trying to post up smaller guards!

The Kings are a bad team but not in a horrible position. They have no 2019 pick and some expensive veterans, but they are terrible enough for the 2018 pick to be high and their expensive veterans all clear out after next season. The main issue is that their young talent has either not taken a step forward (Skal, Buddy) or just aren't that good (Malachi, Justin Jackson, Papa John)

Honestly I was kinda surprised he wasn't on a team already. I guess he was kind of rear end in Boston but he was good in Phoenix and Miami and there's pretty much always work for a bench gunner who can shoot the three like him. The Rockets are a perfect landing spot.

He wasn't good in Indy, and was also in a third straight declining year last season. It wasn't out of the question to assume the super athletic guy was washed up.

I was in the bay area yesterday to watch the playoffs with some friends. The restaurants and bars insisted on having warriors coverage up at all times including some stupid show up called Warriors Outsiders where they were seriously debating whether David West's current contributions were the most impressive of his career, all the while one of hosts had his arms crossed and brow furled like someone just asked him to summarize the point of human existence. Burn warriors fans, burn Draymond, burn the whole thing

After 40 games the Blazers are still 26th in offense and 5th in defense, which is bizarre as all hell given their personnel and past history and I can't figure out how that's happening.

Also the Kings are currently 30th in both offense and defense.

I'm honestly amazed they've won as many games as they've had because statistically they are a terrible team and it shows when they got blown out by poo poo teams. But somehow they defy numbers and randomly knock off the Cavs or Warriors or go .500 on road trips
