This all assumes that the Democratic party would push it through, which it doesn't appear they have any particular inclination to do so.

Okay, so a constitutional amendment is out - three-quarters of state legislatures is not happening. So, in truth, there is nothing that can be done to prevent this happening again in a short-term (i.e. non multiple decade) time frame. Not the best news.

I'm literally sitting here laughing my rear end off at such a childish move. This is something i'd see people back in middle and high school pull. "I don't like you any more so you're not invited to my birthday party! Nyah-hah-hah, loser!".

All we need is a tweet that basically equates to "Are you gonna cry about it?" and the circle of jerkassery will be complete.

Still, if this is why Nikki Haley was all "WE'RE TAKING NAMES" a couple weeks ago, I suppose that them acting like Regina George is probably the least painful thing they could do to people who are fearing doomsday.

I think that's going to be a real lovely party, maybe the eastern europeans can save it from being a total snooze fest - I assume they abstained for reasons of fascism.

Regardless, plenty of the abstain/against countries would be well and truly hosed by the tiniest change in US policy, trumps spitefulness could literally send them into a deep recession, so I understand their (still cowardly) behavior. Canada and Australia however, they better be loving embarrassed and ashamed for enabling trumps retarded bullshit. I guess there is nothing that's bad enough for those countries to stop licking the oranges clowns fetid rear end in a top hat - not even re-legitimizing/normalizing wars of conquest.

Honestly Trump isn't going to be the last American president that decides he wants to lead like he's a Freeper so other countries should probably be using this as the impetus to start divesting themselves from us in whatever way they can. Even if we get a non dumbfuck in 2020, it's really clear that America doesn't have enough protections to stop it's most crazy zealots from seizing power.

The rancour between Bannon and “Javanka” – Kushner and his wife Ivanka Trump – is a recurring theme of the book. Kushner and Ivanka are Jewish. Henry Kissinger, the former secretary of state, is quoted as saying: “It is a war between the Jews and the non-Jews.”

Trump is not spared. Wolff writes that Thomas Barrack Jr, a billionaire who is one of the president’s oldest associates, allegedly told a friend: “He’s not only crazy, he’s stupid.”
