Imagine a high production inter-gender tag match from Beyond wrestling and you get this match. Thoroughly engaging.

You know how some people who never watch NJPW think it's all big moves and finisher spam? That was my feeling watching this match

Marufuji has looked half asleep all tournament until his (also really great) match with Akiyama on Wednesday, and here he really turned it up. Some absolutely brutal spots. I don't have it as high as the Shirai/Satomura match but still excellent.

Nth. As a general rule of thumb I give MOTYC to matches that make me swear loudly in sheer glee.

As an added note this was my first modern AJPW match and yeah I wanna drive down the Kings Road.

The final match of 2018 for New Japan is up there with the best they've done all year. All four guys were incredible, the false finishes were beautifully done and there was some incredible camera framing to boot! As a preview for Wrestle Kingdom, it sure as gently caress delivered.

Yeah pretty much this, I came in expecting something good and gently caress was it exceeded.

I feel that a 3 tier system works well. when browsing the lariato spreadsheet I tended to watch the High Reccomend's/MOTYC first and then if I took a shine to a wrestler then I followed their reccomended/worth a watch matches on the list.

So we could go Recommended/HM/MOTYC, Though I would understand if you didn't want to add any additional work for yourself.
