I'm never terribly enthralled by the Young Lion matches so I usually have another tab open or just skip them if I'm watching after the fact but it's super weird to look back at footage of Naito and Okada as YLs and realize how far they've come, then glance at the current crop and imagine them in 5-6 years as potential champions representing the International Wrestling Grand Prix. Going from plain black trunks young boy Okada to the fuckin' Rainmaker when he came back makes me wonder what someone like Ren Narita or Yuya Uemura is going to be. What a bizarre system.
